Privacy Policy

Zap Bricks: Brick Breaker · Effective 16 October 2026

The short version
  • You don't need an account. We don't run servers that collect your data.
  • Your game progress, coins and settings stay on your device.
  • Ads are shown by Google AdMob. Personalised ads are used only if you agree.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
  • Questions? Write to contact@pluriform.ro.

1. Who we are

Zap Bricks: Brick Breaker (the "game") is made and published by PLURIFORM S.R.L. ("we", "us"). We are the controller for the personal data described in this policy, except where Apple or Google act as independent controllers, as explained below.

Contact: contact@pluriform.ro

2. Data stored on your device

To let you play, the game saves the following on your iPhone or iPad only:

  • your level and progress, the current board (so a level can resume), your coins and power-ups;
  • your daily streak, settings (sound, music, haptics, shake) and tutorial progress;
  • whether you own Premium, and the Apple transaction numbers of your purchases, so a purchase is never credited twice;
  • your privacy choices for ads.

This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete the game. The game does not sync it to iCloud or any other service, so it also does not move to a new device.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game is free and shows ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), provided by Google LLC and, for users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, by Google Ireland Limited. We show a banner during levels, an occasional full-screen ad between levels, and ads you choose to watch for a reward.

To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process data from your device, such as:

Your choices

  • Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland and some US states): when you first open the game you may see Google's consent message. You can accept or refuse personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in the game: tap the gear on the Home screen, then PRIVACY.
  • Apple's tracking permission: the game asks once whether it may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • If you refuse, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.

Google uses this data under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Premium removes the banner and the full-screen ads for good. Ads you choose to watch for a reward stay available, and they still use AdMob when you pick them.

4. In-app purchases

Coin packs and Premium are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your card details, your name or your Apple Account. The game only receives confirmation of the purchase from Apple's StoreKit on your device, and keeps the transaction numbers locally as described in section 2. Apple's handling of your data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Analytics and crash reports

The game has no analytics or tracking tools of its own, apart from the ads SDK described above. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may give us crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you.

6. When you contact us

If you write to us, we use your email address and what you send us only to answer you. We keep these emails for as long as we need them to help you, and delete them after that.

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): personalised ads, and storing or reading information on your device for advertising where consent is required.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): showing non-personalised ads to keep the game free, measuring ads, and preventing fraud and abuse.
  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): delivering what you buy and answering your support requests.

8. International transfers

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Google relies on appropriate safeguards for this, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

9. How long data is kept

  • Game data on your device: until you delete the game.
  • Data collected by Google for ads: according to Google's retention policies.
  • Support emails: only as long as needed to help you.

10. Children

The game is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in your country (16 in Romania and some other EU countries). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it). Because the game keeps your data on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the game. For data held by Google, you can also use Google's own tools. For anything else, write to contact@pluriform.ro.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in Romania the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), or the authority in the country where you live or work.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the game or in the App Store notes.
